When you're cataloging a run of similar items — a binder of cards, a box of coins, a shelf of books — adding them one full form at a time is slow. Bulk Add is a streamlined, keyboard-driven flow built for volume.
Note: Bulk Add and saved templates are available on the Pro plan and above.
What makes it fast
- Sticky values — set a field once (the set, the year, the location) and it carries to the next item so you only change what differs.
- Continuous scan — the camera reopens after every save, so a binder moves about as fast as you can flip pages.
- Keyboard-first — tab between fields and save without reaching for the mouse.
Saved templates
Save a Bulk Add setup as a named template per collection — which fields show, which values stick, and your preferred layout. Next time you sit down to catalog that kind of item, load the template and go. Great for recurring sessions like "new card pickups" or "silver rounds."
A typical session
- Open a collection and choose Bulk Add.
- Load a template, or set your sticky fields for this batch.
- Scan or type each item; adjust only what changes; save and move on.
- Turn on Continuous Scan for barcoded items to keep the camera ready.
