Scan the back-cover EAN-13 or type the ISBN — auto-fills title, author, year, language, page count, publisher, and binding. Open Library is queried first; Google Books fills the gaps.

Type or scan a 17-character VIN, tap Decode — year, make, model, body style, drivetrain, transmission, and engine all auto-populate. U.S. government data, no API key, no third-party tracking.

Scryfall
Type a card name and watch set, year, mana cost, type, rarity, and cover art fill in. Routed automatically when a trading-card record has Sport = "Magic" or "MTG".

Cert Verify Deep-Links
PCGS / NGC / PSA / CGC / SGC
Once a cert number is entered for a numismatic or trading-card record, a Verify button deep-links straight to the grading service's public cert lookup page. No copy-pasting cert numbers across tabs.
Two paths for paid APIs
For integrations that charge per call (PSA, IGDB), you choose how the bill works. Default is off — your free tier never silently touches a paid integration.
You hold the relationship
You sign up with PSA or Twitch directly, paste your API token into Settings → Integrations, and Vaultry uses it on your behalf. We never touch your quota and we never touch your wallet — the bill goes to you, from them.

Don't want to deal with another vendor signup? Opt in and we call the API for you. The per-call cost shows up on your next Vaultry invoice as a metered line item — no surprise renewals, no separate password to remember.

PSA Public API
What it does
- Cert number → full card record (grade, year, set, card #, player, parallel, sport, brand, grading service)
- PSA "MY INVENTORY" CSV bulk import with column pre-mapping
- Slab image import — front + back photos attached to your gallery
Caching
Cert results are immutable post-grading, so cached forever. Slab images cached aside per cert.
Rate limits
Soft monthly cap (default 500 calls) — raisable on request. Per-tenant 60/min + 2,000/day rate limits.
IGDB (Twitch)
What it does
- Title search → game record (cover art, year, developer, platform, publisher, genre)
- UPC scan → same lookup chain
- Cover art attached as a photo to the inventory item

Search results and per-game records cached aside.
Rate limits
Per-tenant 60/min + 2,000/day rate limits with a soft monthly cap.
Every Managed call is logged
When you opt into a Managed integration, every API call lands in a dedicated forensic ledger with the user, IP address, user-agent, request ID, and Stripe meter event ID. The full activity log is exportable as CSV or JSON. If you ever need to dispute a charge or reconcile an invoice, the entire chain is there.
