Generate an insurance PDF

Updated · 1 min read

If you ever need to hand your collection to an insurer, an appraiser, or an estate, a spreadsheet isn't enough. Vaultry generates a polished insurance documentation PDF in one click.

Note: The insurance PDF is available on the Pro plan and above.

What's in it

  • A cover page summarizing the collection, with item count and total declared value.
  • A page (or entry) per item, including its primary photo, key details, grades, serial numbers, and declared value.
  • Clean pagination so it prints and reads like a proper document.

Generate one

  1. Open the collection (or filter it down to the items you want to include).
  2. Choose Insurance PDF / Generate report.
  3. Vaultry builds the document and gives you a PDF to download and send.

Tips for a strong document

  • Make sure items have a declared value and at least one photo — those carry the most weight with an insurer.
  • Photograph serial numbers and certificates so they appear in the report.
  • Regenerate it after big changes so your on-file copy stays current, and pair it with a verification audit for dated proof the items were on hand.
